Terms of service
Effective October 31, 2026 · 한국어
These terms are an agreement between you and YDLY Co. ("we"), which runs Rollov: the daily task list, with notes and projects, on the web at my.rollov.app and as apps for Android and iOS. By creating an account or using Rollov you agree to them. How we handle personal information is described in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
In short
- What you write in Rollov is yours. We use it only to run the service for you.
- Rollov is free during early access. If paid plans come, we tell you first.
- Keep your account safe, and don't misuse the service or other people's rights.
- AI suggestions can be wrong, so check them before relying on them.
- You can export your data or delete your account at any time.
1. Your account
- You need an account to use Rollov, made with an email address and password, Google, Apple or a passkey. Give accurate details and keep your sign-in methods to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
- You must be at least 14 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live if that is higher.
- If you turn on end-to-end encryption, only your passphrase can unlock your content. We cannot reset or recover it, so if you lose the passphrase, the encrypted content cannot be read by you or by us.
- Tell us at support@rollov.app if you think someone else has used your account.
2. Your content
- You keep all rights to the tasks, notes, projects, people, events and files you put in Rollov ("your content").
- You give us permission to store, copy, sync, process and display your content only as needed to provide Rollov to you: to keep it on our servers and your devices, roll your tasks over, send the reminders you ask for, and run the AI features you use. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from backups that expire as the privacy policy describes.
- We do not use your content for advertising, sell it, or use it to train AI models.
- You are responsible for your content and for having the right to put it in Rollov, for example the details of other people you add.
3. Acceptable use
When you use Rollov, don't:
- break the law or anyone else's rights, including privacy and intellectual property;
- try to reach other people's data, get around access rules, usage limits or security measures, or probe the service for weaknesses without our written permission;
- overload or disrupt the service, for example with automated requests beyond normal use;
- copy, resell or reverse engineer the service, except where the law allows it despite this term;
- use the AI features to make anything unlawful or harmful.
If you find a security problem, please tell us at support@rollov.app.
4. AI features
Quick add in plain language, the morning brief and "Ask your history" run on an AI model from Anthropic. Their results are generated automatically and can be incomplete or wrong; check them before you rely on them. Each account has a monthly AI allowance, and each feature can be turned off in Settings. What is sent to Anthropic is described in the privacy policy.
5. Other services
Some features connect to services we don't run, such as Google Calendar, calendar links you add, your phone's calendars and contacts, and the app stores you install Rollov from. Their own terms apply to them, and we are not responsible for how they work or for content they provide. You can disconnect them at any time.
6. Fees
Rollov is free during early access. If we introduce paid plans, we will show the price and what it includes before you are asked to pay, and at least 30 days before any feature you already use stops being free. Nothing will be charged without your agreement. Purchases made through an app store follow that store's payment and refund rules.
7. The service
- Rollov keeps a copy of your data on each device so it works offline, and syncs when it can. We work to keep it available and your data safe, but cannot promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors. Exporting a copy from Settings now and then is a good idea.
- We change and improve Rollov over time, and may add, change or remove features. If a change takes away something significant you rely on, we will tell you in advance where we reasonably can.
- Rollov, its design, name and logo belong to us. These terms don't give you rights to them beyond using the service.
8. Ending
- You can stop using Rollov and delete your account at any time in Settings, Account. See deleting your account.
- We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or where the law requires it. Unless that would be unlawful or put others at risk, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond and to export your data first.
- If we ever shut Rollov down, we will tell you at least 30 days before and give you a way to export your data.
9. Warranties and liability
Rollov is provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we give no warranties beyond those stated in these terms, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost opportunities, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, by your own devices or network, or by your losing your password or encryption passphrase. While Rollov is free, our total liability to you is limited to KRW 100,000 (or the equivalent); once you pay us, to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
None of this limits liability for intentional acts or gross negligence, or any right you have as a consumer that the law of the country you live in does not allow to be limited.
10. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the effective date above changes with them. We announce changes in the app or by email at least 7 days before they take effect, and at least 30 days before for changes that are worse for you. If you don't agree, you can delete your account before then; continuing to use Rollov afterwards means you accept the new terms.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Please write to us first so we can try to resolve any problem. A dispute that cannot be resolved goes to the courts having jurisdiction under Korea's Civil Procedure Act. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in and can also bring a claim there.
The terms are written in Korean and English. If the two differ, the Korean version applies to users in Korea and the English version to everyone else. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
